Speed matters more than you might think. A slow website naturally frustrates visitors – in fact, Google reports that after three seconds with no loading progress, most people will leave the site outright. Not only that, but slow sites rank lower on search engines, as the search engines don’t want to provide their users a slow experience.. Aim for load times under 3 seconds. This means optimizing images, avoiding bloated third-party plugins and choosing lightweight design tools like fonts and verification methods.
